There was decreased expression of CD83+ cells in the H1N1 group compared to the controls, decreased expression of tryptase + mast cells and CD207+ cells in the H1N1 and ARDS groups, compared to the controls, and increased expression of IL-17 in the H1N1 and ARDS groups compared to the controls (arrows).
