Incubation with l-carnitine and baicalin restored hyperoxia-induced reduction of migration in cultured lung endothelial cells. Cells were exposed to hyperoxia (50% O2/5% CO2, 95% O2/5% CO2) or air (21% O2/5% CO2) for 24 h followed by normoxia for 16 h. Cells were incubated with l-carnitine (LCT, 40 and 80 mg/L) and baicalin (BLN, 22.5 and 45 mg/L) for 12 h during the air recovery phase. Migration was measured using scratch assay.
