Effect of pretreatment with the EP3 antagonist, L-798,106, on sulprostone-enhanced citric acid-induced cough. Pretreatment of guinea pigs with 15 μl of L-798,106 (2.5 mg/ml; n = 7 and 5 mg/ml; n = 10, i.c.v.) resulted in a dose-dependent inhibition of the sulprostone-enhanced citric acid-induced cough response compared to vehicle (n = 10).
