Effect of pretreatment with the NaV 1.8 antagonist, A-803467, on PGE2-enhanced citric acid-induced cough. Pretreatment of guinea pigs with 15 μl of A-803467 (5 mg/ml; n = 5 and 10 mg/ml; n = 5, i.c.v.) resulted in a dose-dependent inhibition of the PGE2-enhanced citric acid-induced cough response compared to vehicle (n = 6).
