TCIG-exposure leads to a significantly increased synthesis of IL-8 in NCI-H292 cells (a), Calu-3 (b), and pHBE’s (c). The treatment with ECIG-vapor induced a slight increase in IL-8 production in NCI-H292 (a) and pHBE (c), but resulted in significantly increased IL-8 concentrations in Calu-3 cells (b).
