Patients with a low relative eosinophil count showed a higher CRP than patients with a high relative eosinophil count (left diagram; p < 0.001; Mann-Whitney test). Patients with low absolute numbers of blood eosinophils also exhibited a higher CRP than patients with an intermediate or high number of blood eos (right diagram; p < 0.001; p < 0.001; Kruskal-Wallis test with Dunn’s test)
