miR-17-5p regulates the expression of proteins involved in cell cycle progression, cell proliferation and apoptosis in PASMCs in vitro. PASMCs were transfected with miR-17-5p agomir (miR-17-5p) or miR-17-5p antagomir (anti-miR-17-5p) oligonucleotides. mRNA levels of four target genes of miR-17-5p (a). The expression levels of two target genes of miR-17-5p were determined by western blot (bd). mRNA levels of five genes involved in cell cycle progression, cell proliferation and apoptosis in PASMCs (f). The results are expressed as the means ±SD of at least three independent experiments, and qRT-PCR was conducted in triplicate. *P < 0.05, #P < 0.01
