Cytokines measured in lung parenchymal tissue from wildtype (WT) (□) and mice not expressing TLR4 (TLR4−/−) (■) treated with AMP, LPS and AMP-LPS. There were no observed differences in IL-10 and IL-13 protein expression measured from whole mouse lung lobe analysed by ELISA for between mouse strains for any treatment or for any treatment compared to control non-treated mice (p > 0.05). Results were normalised to 100 μg of total soluble protein for comparative purposes (n = minimum of 4 for each group)
