IL-27 regulates cytokine production during influenza infection. C57BL/6, WT and IL-27Rα−/− mice, were infected with 100 PFU of influenza A PR/8/34 for 7 days. Type 17-associated inflammatory cytokine mRNA gene expression in lung homogenate was measured by RT-PCR, n = 7 (A) and cytokine/chemokine levels were measured in lung homogenate by Lincoplex, n = 7 (B-F). IL-10 mRNA gene expression in lung homogenate was measured by RT-PCR, n = 7 (G).
