From: (R)-albuterol decreases immune responses: role of activated T cells
Analysis of allergic parameters following albuterol administration. (A) Mice were sensitized and challenged with OVA. On the first day of OVA challenge (day 14, see Methods) a miniosmotic pump containing (R+S), (R), (S)-albuterol or PBS was inserted subcutaneously (1 mg/kg/day). Cell counts were determined by differential staining of cells isolated from BAL fluid. Data is shown as mean ± SEM (n = 8–10 per group). (B) Total serum IgE levels were measured by ELISA.
