Localisation of EPC in the left-side transplanted lung. Lung specimens from rats after left-sided lung transplantation. EPC were stained prior to transplantation with SP-DiIC₁₈(3) (red). Figure 6A shows SP-DiIC₁₈(3)-staining (red) of EPC prior to intravenous transplantation. A-C, C-D and D-F show the same specimens, respectively. In the upper line confocal fluorescence microscopy for SP-DiIC₁₈(3)-stained EPC (red) is showed (A-C). In the lower row fluorescence is overlaid with light microscopy (D-F) for the same specimens.
