  1. * Maternal atopy was defined as history of doctors diagnosis of one or more of the diagnoses asthma, hay fever or eczema. N = 31 mothers without and n = 19 mothers with atopy (differs slightly in groups depending on availability of data).
  2. The mRNA level of the genes is shown as fold difference in gene expression in stimulated as compared to unstimulated samples and compared to the housekeeping gene GAPDH. Quantitative gene expression was assessed with real-time RT-PCR.
