From: Microarray identifies ADAM family members as key responders to TGF-β1 in alveolar epithelial cells
Epstein Barr Virus infection of alveolar epithelial cells. EBV infection of A549 alveolar epithelial cells was confirmed by western blotting for the viral protein LMP1. LMP1 was detected in Akata cells (Control) as a positive control. Lanes V1 and V2 demonstrate LMP-1 protein expression in infected A549 alveolar epithelial cells. Each lane represents protein taken from separate experiments containing 4 × 105 cells.
