From: Effects of PM10 in human peripheral blood monocytes and J774 macrophages
The cytosolic calcium concentration (nM) in J774 cells on treatment with 5–25 μg/ml PM10 particles for 1700 seconds (a) and with 10 μg/ml PM10 particles plus calcium antagonists (b). There was a significant difference only at the 10 μg/ml particle dose from the control (p < 0.05). With calcium antagonist treatment, there was a significant difference between all of the treatments and the control (p < 0.05).
