The four columns on the right side of the table show comparisons between the groups: Control vs. total group of COPD patients (C-T), Control vs. COPD (current smoker) (C-S), Control vs. COPD (former smoker) (C-F) and COPD (current smoker) vs. COPD (former smoker) (S-F).
