T-cell proliferation in DC-T-cell co-cultures. Autologous peripheral blood CD4+T cells were cultured alone (first column) or co-cultured with blood mDCs (second to fifth column) at a 5:1 ratio for 5 days. LPS-stimulated co-cultures (third to fifth column) were incubated with medium alone (third column), Fluticasone (F; fourth column) or Fluticasone plus Salmeterol (F+S; fifth column).
