Day 0 marks the recorded day of the onset of an exacerbation in the clinical record form. Circles, squares and triangles denote the 1^st moderate, 2^nd moderate and 1^st severe exacerbation, respectively. Outcomes for the 1^st severe exacerbation are graphed only up to the day of onset because of many missing values after its onset (when patient were admitted to the hospital).
