There are no marked differences for none of the parameters between CF and wild type mice of either genotype. C57BL6/J mice responded stronger to the bacterial infection than FABP mice as indicated by the larger decrease in lung volume (A). As young mice breathe faster than old mice, the overall time for one breath increases with age (C, D).
