Total RNA was collected from A549 cells pre-incubated with vehicle, RGZ or CGZ with or without GW9662 for 1 hr and then stimulated with 2.5 ng/ml TGF-β1 for 24 hr. Results were normalised to 18s rRNA levels and expressed as fold change from basal levels. Each point represents mean ± S.E.M. * P < 0.05, ** P < 0.01, *** P < 0.001 compared with TGF-β1.
