  1. Mice were administered PBS or 100 μg polyI:C (I.N.) every 24 h for three days. 24 h following the last polyI:C administration, BALs were performed. Analyte levels in BAL were determined. Data are expressed as mean pg/ml ± SEM from 6 – 8 mice. Statistical significance was determined using the Mann-Whitney test. * p < 0.05, **p < 0.01 when compared to PBS-treated mice. There was no measureable change in the following cytokines (data not shown): IL-1β, IL-2, IL-4, IL-5, IL-7, IL-10, IL-12(p70), IL-9, IL-13, IL-15, or IL-17.
