  3. The following SNPs: rs11905870, rs621394, rs17513895, rs615436, rs3918392 and rs3918400 had a minor allele frequency < 0.05 in this population. COPD was associated with the Q-1, S1, S2, V-1 and V4 genotypes. COPD was defined by an FEV1/FVC ratio < 70% and ppFEV1 < 75% (n = 287). Control group were smokers with an FEV1/FVC ratio ≥ 70% and ppFEV1 ≥ 80% (n = 311).
