Neutrophil chemokine KC (CXCL1) in BAL and from lung slices. KC levels in BAL samples of mice instilled with saline a or SPD-MAA: 50 μg/mL b were measured over 1d, 1–3 weeks time. Lung slices from both WT and SR-A1 KO mice were treated with media, SPD-MAA (100 μg/mL) and non-adducted SPD (100 μg/mL) for 24 h c. After 24 h supernatant was collected and neutrophil chemokine KC release was measured.
