From: Macrophage CD74 contributes to MIF-induced pulmonary inflammation
MIF-induced MIP-2 accumulation depends on p44/p42 MAPK pathway. RAW264.7 cell were incubated with MAP kinase kinase (MEK) specific inhibitor (PD98059, 30 mM) or p38 MAP kinase specific inhibitor (SB202190, 30 mM) or DMSO for 30 min before stimulation with 100 ng/ml MIF. After 18 hours stimulation, supernatants were collected and MIP-2 concentrations in supernatants were measured by ELISA. Bars indicate mean ± SD (n = 3/group).
