Lung epithelial cells were transfected with dsi RNA targeting FoxP1 (dsi FoxP1) or non-sense RNA (dsi Scramble). Cells were then exposed to 5% cigarette smoke extract overnight. Lysate was processed for RT-PCR and supernatant was collected for ELISA. Result are from 3–-6 samples from independent experiments.
