Expression of mitochondrial biogenesis markers in the lungs of HDM-treated mice. a C57BL/6 mice were intranasally exposed to PBS or HDM extract every other day for 2 weeks and the mice were sacrificed. Lung tissues were removed after fixation and immune-fluorescence staining was performed to investigate the expressions of mitochondrial biogenesis markers (PGC-1α and TFAM) and E-Cadherin in the lungs of the mice. The negative control indicates secondary antibody alone. Representative photographs are shown.
