Effect of AITC and selective TRPA1 antagonist HC-030031 on remodeling gene markers after TGF-β1 stimulation. a MRC-5 cells were incubated with TGF-β1 (5 ng/mL) for 24 h and then treated with HC-030031 (30 μM) for 24 h (TGF-β + HC) in the presence of TGF-β1. TGF-β1 significantly increased α-SMA gene expression (*P < 0.05) and were not inhibited by HC-030031.
