Patients with a low relative eosinophil count experienced a longer hospital stay as compared to patients with a high relative eosinophil count (left diagram; p < 0,005; Mann-Whitney test). Patients with low absolute number of blood eosinophils also exhibited a longer length of hospital stay as compared to patients with an intermediate or high number of blood eos (right diagram; p < 0.005; p < 0.001; Kruskal-Wallis test with Dunn’s test)
