  1. The table shows mean values and standard deviations or absolute numbers, in case of the diagnosis of cognitive impairment additionally percentages. Column 7 and 13 show the p-values of comparisons between patients of the respective GOLD groups A-D (univariate ANOVA or chi-square-tests in the case of categorical variables). Due to the skewness of distribution of CRP values, median values and interquartile range have been chosen for presentation. The comparison between groups was performed with log-transformed values
