CXCR5 + CD8 + T cells are increased in the peripheral circulation in patients with uncontrolled CAP and progressive HAP compared controlled patient cohorts. Comparison of the circulating CXCR5 + CD8 + T cells and PCT between acute and chronic infection (a), among tuberculosis, bronchiectasis and community or hospital acquired pneumonia (b), between K.p and non-K.p infection (c, d).
