The relation between p120 and JMD domain contributed to the endocytosis of E-cadherin. MLE-12 cells were transfected with WT-JMD or flag-K83R-JMD using lipofectamine 2000. (a) Mouse E-cadherin JMD sequence and the mutant JMD sequence. (b) Successful transfection of flag-K83R-JMD was determined by western blot. (c) The association of p120 and E-cadherin in the JMD mutant transfection group. K83R mutant abolished E-cadherin JMD/p120 binding. (d) MLE-12 cells were transfected with WT-JMD or K83R-JMD.
