Dietary intervention with 1% GOS reduced pulmonary eosinophilic inflammation in the lungs of HDM allergic mice. Infiltration of inflammatory cells in the BALF of house dust mite allergic mice. HDM-PBS: HDM- sensitized and PBS-challenged mice (white bars), HDM-HDM: HDM-sensitized and -challenged mice (grey bar). Contr: control diet, GOS: 1% GOS diet, Bud: budesonide treatment.
