  1. a mRNA expression was analyzed by conventional reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction and the expression ratios compared with GAPDH were determined by densitometry. No differences were observed in hPGD synthase mRNA expression, either between non-sensitized and sensitized animals or between HDM-sensitized animals treated with mismatched antisense oligonucleotides and animals treated with COX-2 antisense oligonucleotide. In contrast, mPGE synthase expression was reduced in the selective COX-2 oligonucleotide-treated mice compared with the other experimental groups. Data are shown as the mean ± SEM (*p< 0.05).
