(B) Northern blot analysis of IL-13 mRNA expression in macrophages. GAPDH was used as an internal control. (C) Western blot analysis revealed that IL-13 protein level in macrophages was decreased by theophylline. α-tubulin was used as the loading control. 10 μg/ml of theophylline treatment approximately corresponds to the clinical plasma level.
