Inhibitors of mitogen-activated protein kinases differentially regulate costimulated T cell cytokine production and mouse airway eosinophilia

Table 1 IC₅₀ values for the inhibition of cytokine mRNA synthesis by different MAPK inhibitors in CD28 or ICOS costimulated human CD4+ T cells. Human CD4+ T cells were preincubated with increasing concentrations of SP600125, U0126 and SB203580. The cells were then stimulated with beads coated with α-CD3/B7-2 fusion protein or α-CD3/B7-H2 fusion protein for 8 hours. Cytokine mRNA level were determined in triplicates using real time RT-PCR and were normalized to β-actin. Stimulated cells treated with DMSO were used as 100% control. IC₅₀values were calculated for the different cytokines. Results represent mean ± s.e.m. for three different donors.
