Effects of MAPK inhibitors on BAL cytokine levels. Cells were recovered from bronchoalveolar lavage by centrifugation and RNA was prepared from the cell pellet. Cytokine mRNA level were determined using real-time RT-PCR and were normalized to β-actin.
