From: E1A expression dysregulates IL-8 production and suppresses IL-6 production by lung epithelial cells
IL-6 production in response to exposure to LPS and TNF-α. Equal cell numbers from clones were exposed to a concentration range of LPS (see z-axis; 0–1 μg/ml, A) or TNF-α (0–5 ng/ml, B) for 8 hrs. IL-6 in culture supernatant was measured by ELISA. T represents the mean IL-6 production (in pg/ml; y-axis) of 7 T-clones. Individual B and AB clones as designated on the x-axis.
