Aspergillusantigen induced AHR in wild-type,Mcp-1-/-andCcr2-/-mice. Airway reactivity in response to intravenous acetylcholine was measured invasively. Data are expressed as log PC200 and lower values indicate higher airway response. Aspergillus antigen exposure and the airway measurement protocol are described in methods (PBS-treated, N = 12 mice; Aspergillus antigen-treated, N = 8–10 mice/group;). The data shown are from one experiment and representative of three separate experiments. Asterisks (*) indicate values that are statistically significantly different (p < 0.001) compared to PBS controls.
