From: FEV1 inversely correlates with metalloproteinases 1, 7, 9 and CRP in COPD by biomass smoke exposure
Plasma levels of MMP-1 and MMP-7 in COPD groups compared with NS healthy women (controls), and relationship between plasma MMP-1 and MMP-7 and FEV 1 (% predicted). There was a significant difference between BE and TS with NS healthy subjects. No difference was found among COPD groups: (A) MMP-1.
