Morphological characterisation of early passage human ASM cells following single-cell cloning. Following fluorescence-activated cell sorting based single-cell sorting, early passage human ASM cells were subjected to clonal expansion and sub cultured in 10% foetal calf serum supplemented growth media. Their morphological characteristics were observed and recorded in (A) slow-growing clonal populations and (B) fast-growing clonal populations at passage 7. Cells are labelled for cathepsin K (2.5 μg/ml). Representative images of isotype controls are shown in Figure 4B & D.
