Mitochondrial capacity is increased in long-term cigarette CSE exposed BEAS-2B cells. Cells were exposed to 0% CSE, 2.5% CSE, 10% CSE 12.5% CSE (n = 4-5) for 6 months. A) Mitochondrial mass was determined by COXIV as a mitochondrial loading control using western blotting. GAPDH was used as loading control. B) ATP levels were measured by bioluminescence.
