ASMCs were treated with medium (vehicle) or formoterol (10-8 M) and concentration of A) cAMP (n = 5) in cell lysates were measured after 5 minutes of stimulation, while B) PGE2 (n = 5) and C) IL-6 (n = 7) in cell supernatants were measured after 24 hrs. The vehicle control contained 10-4% (v/v) DMSO. *p < 0.05 between groups as indicated by the horizontal lines.
