The effects of fluticasone and salmeterol on asthmatic (A) and non-asthmatic (NA) ASMC CXCL10 release induced by cytomix. Confluent serum-deprived ASMC were treated with A) fluticasone, B) salmeterol or C) both agents for 1 h prior to and during stimulation with cytomix (IL-1β, TNF-α and IFNγ combined, each at 10 ng/ml) and CXCL10 release after 24 h quantified by ELISA.
