The effects of fluticasone (Flutic) and salmeterol (Sal) on cytokine-induced CXCL10 release by asthmatic (A) and non-asthmatic (NA) ASMC. Confluent serum-deprived ASMC were treated with fluticasone and/or salmeterol for 1 h prior to and during stimulation with the cytokines (each at 10 ng/ml) A) IL-1β, B) TNF-α or C) IFNγ and CXCL10 release after 24 h quantified by ELISA.
