Effects of lipoteichoic acid (LTA) on the expression of the transcription factor, nuclear factor (NF)-κB. A549 cells were exposed to 30 μg/ml LTA for 1, 6, and 24 h. Levels of cytosolic NF-κB p65 (cNF-κB) were immunodetected (A, top panel). β-Actin was detected as the internal standard (bottom panel). These protein bands were quantified and analyzed (B).
