  1. Most of the patients in this cohort were asthmatics (72.6%) with an average age of 8.3 years old (7.9 years old for entire cohort). The majority of asthma patients were between ages 2 to 10 years old and basement membrane thickening (BMTH) was significantly correlated with asthma diagnosis.
