Relationships between the diastolic pulmonary arterial pressures (Ppa D ) measured 8 weeks after LVD induction and the changes in lung responsiveness to MCh (ED 50 ) in the end-expiratory lung volume (EELV) and in the airway resistance (Raw). Data points were obtained in rats that underwent sham surgery (Group C), and in rats with a LVD without subsequent treatment (Group I) or supplemented with treatment with calcium channel (Group ID) or ACE blockers (Group IE).
