Alterations in lung responsiveness expressed as changes in airway resistance during increasing doses of methacholine (MCh 2, 6 and 18 μg/kg/min). Data points were obtained before (W0) and 8 weeks after LVD induction (W8) in rats that underwent sham surgery (Group C), and in rats with a LVD without subsequent treatment (Group I) or supplemented with treatment with calcium channel (Group ID) or ACE blockers (Group IE).
