(A) Alveolar fluid clearance (%) in wild type or AMPKα1 deficient mice exposed (n = 3) or not (n = 4) to ozone at 2 ppm for 3 h. (B) Western Blot analysis of Na,K-ATPase expression at the plasma membrane in wild type or AMPKα1 deficient mice exposed (n = 3) or not (n = 4) to ozone at 2 ppm for 3 h. The amount of Na,K-ATPase was normalized to GLUT1. Results were expressed in fold increased of control. Mice were exposed to air with or without ozone at 2 ppm for 3 h. Parameters were evaluated 24 h after exposure; *: p < 0.05; GLUT1: glucose transporter 1.
