Kinetics of human epithelial conditioned media (HECM) and mometasone effect on eosinophil survival. HECM at 10% (filled circles) from nasal mucosa and nasal polyps significantly increased eosinophil survival compared to control media (open circles) from day 1 to 4. Mometasone at 10-5 M (filled triangles) inhibited the HECM-induced eosinophil survival at all time points. Results expressed as mean ± SEM of eosinophil survival index.
