The fold change for each protein is calculated by dividing the average ratio of the untreated asthmatics with the average ratio of the healthy controls. The negative fold change indicates down regulation of protein expression in asthmatic patients. The cell location of the protein is annotated by IPA. The protein class is determined using the PANTHER Classification System.
